One of my MIL’s friends has graciously decided to give us a crib and yesterday it was delivered sans hardware.
Not a big deal as I could easily call up the company and purchase a new set.
But when I looked up and called the customer service number for Forever Mine Furniture what I got was, well…
See for yourself? 1-800-356-CRIB (2742)

BTW - watch your bill to make sure that number didn’t redirect you to a 900 number site - that sometimes happens.
We’ll see, since I was dumb enough to dial!
Since we may have a budding class (of 2) action lawsuit in the works - did the number come from written documentation that you got with the crib, or an internet search?
Of course, if it did redirect, it went to some untouchable offshore company, no doubt.

Written documentation. It was included in the instructions for assembly. But then, this crib was originally bought at a PX somewheres and has gone through several children, so I’m not surprised that the company may or may not even exist at the moment.
I know what I need to put it all together so I’ll just go to the hardware store and buy some bolts. I just wasn’t expecting the “me love you long time” schpeel when I called them up. Ended up handing the phone over to the MIL and told her to talk to them. Heh heh.

At risk of breaking an arm patting myself on the back, I will say that I did not call the number that you posted on your blog. The little spider senses that I was given upon becoming a Mom hinted to me that I might now enjoy what I’d hear on the other end of the phone if I were to make that call. LOL. Now, having said that,…after you get that crib up, I’d really love to see a picture of it and the amazing Ms. En. *Hugs*

Your first hint should be that the numbers that are used to spell “CRIB” on a phone also spell “ASIA”.
