And still a hopeless Gargoyles fan.
I remember a time where I spent several weeks downloading every single episode off of LimeWire just so I could watch them on my laptop while I was on guard duty. I even got the very first comic in the brand new series while I was still in California. But because the past several months have been, well, busy, I haven’t been on top of my old fandom the way I was.
Today I finally got around to ordering comics #2 - #6.
For the next few days you will be able to find me sitting next to my mail box in heated anticipation.
(*And will be for the next nine months as well as the rest of my life if I can swing it…)

I thought I was bad waiting for re-runs of Star Trek Voyager and Enterprise. On that note I will say I loved that cartoon. I catch it now and then on TV. It’s always a must stop and watch!

DS9?!?!? Voyager was SOOOOOO much better than DS9.

NO WAY! Capt Sisko was the MAN. None of the other captains would have dealt with Q by punching him in the face. Well, maybe Capt Kirk would have if he had encountered him…
While TNG will always have a spot in my heart, I think I liked DS9 so much because it was so much darker. I guess that rubbed a lot of fans the wrong way; in TNG they had achieved an almost Utopia that, while nice, wasn’t entirely believable for me. I thought DS9 was more realistic for that reason. Apparently they tried to drop some of that darkness for Voyager and get back to Gene Roddenberry’s dream for the future.
And I think Cardassians are really really cool so that may have something to do with it. Ha ha.
Oh, and while I’m on the subject of favorite captains, I was watching Throw Momma from the Train the other day and had one of those “point out the Star Trek character in a completely unrelated film” moments. Probably one of the reasons I enjoyed Gargoyles so much. The cast was riddled with actors from the Trek series’.

Ya wasn’t Michael Dorn in Gargoyles? I’m a little old so my memory might be off on that.
TNG was great too. Capt Picard was way cool. Data and Wesly drove me crazy at times. But Wes’ mom was HOT.
