Good news for those of you who missed my first hack at blogging, or those of you who are desperate to look through some really really old archives.

I went ahead and uprooted my old blog so I could graft it here, now that I have a different host. Unfortunately, it seems that Start Logic (my old host) is having issues with transferring files to their new platform, so I cannot access my old wp-login to snag my archives. Luckily I had everything from August 2007 and before backed up on blogger so it was just a matter if importing those posts to WordPress.

Bad news? I’m missing about three months worth of posts from my first blog.

Good news? I’m only missing about three months worth of posts from my first blog.

I’ve tried to make Ye Olde Blog Home (see top of sidebar) somewhat anonymous by blocking search engines and such, so I’m hoping it’s safe where it is. Next I’ll be fixing all those broken links and file paths that inevitably come with a transplant such as this.

(Update) Also added baby pictures in the side bar.

P.S. I highly recommend the two hosting services that I listed above: Start Logic and Host Monster. They are, in my opinion, two of the best out there as far as customer service and bang for your buck. Once upon a time I tried using Yahoo!/Geoshitties as my hosting service and learned very very quickly that they were bad juju.
