I can’t believe it

WTF?! Add comments

My brother (who will eternally live in diapers and be 2 feet tall in my memory) is going to be graduating from the University of Minnesota with a degree in EE on May 9th. He’s also got a job interview in California on the 2nd.

This just boggles my mind.

But then I’m still trying to absorb the fact that his voice has changed and that he sports a five o’clock shadow by noon.

Congrats, bro. You are teh awesomest of all us kids.

Now quit making us look bad by comparison! ;)

Wow, I thought I was the only one who didn’t post for years on end. Congrats to your brother (I’d leave this on his site, but I’m not sure he’d ever get it).

I don’t blame him. He’s always so busy. He took something like 23 credit hours this semester so that he could graduate in four years instead of five.

    Wow…

Yay EEs are cool! :) Also U of M is cool. I considered going there for undergrad. What does your brother want to do when he gets out? Who is the interview with?

    Aarrruuummmnnn… hmmm….
I don’t know who he’s interviewing with. Just that it’s in San Jose (*snort* like that narrows it down). I believe he said he was interested in nanotechnology. I’ll have to get back to you on that.

My interview is with Brocade in San Jose, CA. I actually leave…crap on May 1, I should get ready.

They do stuff with Storage Area Networks and stuff. If they hire me, it’d be for a Systems Engineer-Sales (that’s what they call it) position. Honestly, anything with “sales” in it isn’t really something I’m looking forward to. But whatever gets me into the business I guess.

Still not quite sure what I really want to do. Maybe something with alternative energy now since I spent $60 to fill the Buick yesterday. My company wouldn’t sell out to an oil company so they could claim to have invested “$xxx-MILLION” in alternative energy! And then close it down.

    Only $60? Damn truck takes $80. :(
We’ll probably trade it in, in about four years. Husband’s loan on his car will be paid off by then.
