No place like home
September 6th, 2008
So we’ve finally done it. We’ve made an offer on a real life all-growed-up house. A nice two-story with a cute front porch and an unfinished basement. Four bedrooms (zomg!!), two car garage, 2.5 bathrooms, and a spectacular view. It’s a spec home built in 2005 and we’ll be the first people to actually live in it.
We’ve made a ridiculously low offer for the place, but it’s a buyer’s market and it has been ownerless (unless you count the builder who built it) for three years so we figured, What the heck. The worst they could tell us is ‘no’.

that is a sweet house, i hope your offer goes through!
Wow, how can you live with the neighbors that far away, and green grass? We put 3 houses in that amount of space here, and as a result we feel safe and happy like hamsters in a habitrail(or lemmings on the tundra take your pick). Grass should be brown this time of year! You’re wasting all that water…
Seriously, good luck!!! The place looks awesome!
*Jealous Quiver hopelessly trapped in a Liberal state thinking I should have listened to chief when he said don’t marry the local girls wondering why I can’t water the lawn when my hometown has a river running threw it and isn’t that an ocean over there while waiting for the next fire and asking how many Obama bumper stickers are there in California anyway and does that sign really list the price at $3.70 per gallon why are all the yellow ribbons gone?*
Keep us posted please.
Aw! Poor Gym. But you get all the nice weather. And Comic Con!
All we have is cows, corn, and college football.
