It irks me to no end when kids are talked down to as if they’re dumber than monkey pudding.  And since I don’t like the idea of plopping Shake down alone in front of the boob tube and leaving her there all day, I’ve also got to find programming that doesn’t make me want to bleach my eyeballs.  Seriously, I’d rather chew tinfoil than sit through some of today’s kids television with her.  It’s for these reasons that Shake doesn’t watch shows like Barney or Dora.

That said:  Why did nobody tell me that Veggie Tales was hill-AR-ious?
