Good news for those of you who missed my first hack at blogging, or those of you who are desperate to look through some really really old archives.

I went ahead and uprooted my old blog so I could graft it here, now that I have a different host. Unfortunately, it seems that Start Logic (my old host) is having issues with transferring files to their new platform, so I cannot access my old wp-login to snag my archives. Luckily I had everything from August 2007 and before backed up on blogger so it was just a matter if importing those posts to WordPress.

Bad news? I’m missing about three months worth of posts from my first blog.

Good news? I’m only missing about three months worth of posts from my first blog.

I’ve tried to make Ye Olde Blog Home (see top of sidebar) somewhat anonymous by blocking search engines and such, so I’m hoping it’s safe where it is. Next I’ll be fixing all those broken links and file paths that inevitably come with a transplant such as this.

(Update) Also added baby pictures in the side bar.

P.S. I highly recommend the two hosting services that I listed above: Start Logic and Host Monster. They are, in my opinion, two of the best out there as far as customer service and bang for your buck. Once upon a time I tried using Yahoo!/Geoshitties as my hosting service and learned very very quickly that they were bad juju.

Okay, I’m having way too much fun with themes tonight. Yes the background changes between four different scenes.

And just to be SUPER ANNOYING, here is a song I’m sure you’ll wish you could forget about all over again. It goes with the theme.

P.S. I killed off the old blog tonight. Sort of. You can still see it if you look really close.

Eventually this place will be getting a domain name of its very own, but I have to be honest; nothing creative is coming to mind.

I should hold a contest with the winner getting to pick my new name, but I doubt I have that many readers yet.

Still, if anyone out there (echo-echo-echo) has any ideas I’d be glad to hear them.

This blog isn’t very old so I don’t expect many hits.

So who do I know in L.A.?

(Update!) I did some digging and I think the hits I’m getting every now and then from L.A. are really from a spam-bot. I hope. If I’m wrong I hope the person from L.A. would be nice enough to leave me a comment. ^_^

On that note, how sad is it that I prefer a spam-bot over a stalker using a proxy?

I couldn’t find it in me to delete my old home so it still exists, but I really did need a new place.  Having outgrown the old one and all…
